By accessing or using CapHash ("the Service", "the Site") at caphash.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the Service. Use of the Service also constitutes acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. Description of Service
CapHash provides a free, browser-based tool for generating Instagram captions and hashtag suggestions. The Service is provided "as is" for personal and commercial use by content creators.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
3. Intellectual Property
The CapHash name, logo, design, code, and content (excluding user-generated outputs) are the intellectual property of CapHash and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws.
Generated captions and hashtags produced by the tool using your inputs are yours to use freely. You may copy, edit, publish, and monetise generated outputs without restriction.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the CapHash website code, design, or branding without our prior written consent.
4. User Content
Keywords and descriptions you type into the generator are processed locally in your browser and are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
By using the Service, you confirm that any inputs you provide do not infringe any third-party rights and are not unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Service to:
- ✕ Generate content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, or defamatory
- ✕ Scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the Service in a way that degrades performance for other users
- ✕ Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the Service for commercial redistribution
- ✕ Circumvent any security or access controls on the Service
- ✕ Use the Service in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee that generated captions or hashtags will achieve any particular result on social media platforms.
Social media platform algorithms, reach, and engagement outcomes are entirely outside of our control. CapHash is a creative writing aid — not a guaranteed growth tool.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CapHash and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of £10 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (which is £0, as the Service is free).
8. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer in another jurisdiction where mandatory local consumer laws may apply.

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
